Why Clean Water is So Important?

The human being is composed primarily of water, 72% to be exact. Without food we can survive perhaps 20 -30 days, but without water, we only have 2 - 3 days before we perish. As our bodies are such a high percentage of water, then it only makes sense to consume healthy clean water.

If we become dehydrated and lose even 5% of our total fluid makeup, we will lose between 25% and 30% of our energy! It has been estimated that close to 70% of people do not drink enough water and are thus dehydrated - which means that from day to day we may be only operating at perhaps 75% of our true capacity! With figures like these it becomes clear why clean pure water is so important.

Why Consume Distilled Water?

Distilled water is a very effective way to ensure that you are ingesting enough quality water each day. Of all the water purification methods available out there, reverse osmosis and distillation are the only two methods that will remove fluoride from municipal drinking water supplies.

Aside from this, the cost per litre is around 6 cents - when you compare this to bottled water (often being bottled municipal water), the savings become self evident!

How Does Distillation Work?

Water distillation is a simple process, and has been around for a long time. As the water boils, the resultant steam is boiled off and then collected in the special stainless steel chambers in the head provision of the unit. The steam is then reconstituted into water, and dripped into a receptacle. Needless to say, contaminants such as cryptosporidium, E Coli, Guardia, chlorine and fluorine are left behind!
